The Clinical Support Specialist will oversee students in their clinical rotations in the hospital setting per the guidelines in place by the college in the adjunct faculty handbook, job description, and course description as well as the guidelines of the organization they are assigned to. Duties and tasks include overseeing students in their clinical rotations and providing support to students during clinical hours.

Critical thinking and clinical judgement skills. Ability to use instructional technology. Ability to teach a diverse student population.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with a major in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution. Holds a current license or multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in VA as a registered nurse. At least two years direct client care experience as a registered nurse.

Experience teaching students from diverse language backgrounds and varying levels of proficiency.
