Operating Room Circulator RN
Operating Room Circulator RN for a 13-week temp-to-perm role in Albuquerque, NM, with weekly pay up to $2,850. The position offers potential permanent placement and a supportive surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as a Circulator RN, coordinating and delivering patient care throughout the surgical process
- Prepare the OR, ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile
- Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout the surgery and report any changes
- Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other members of the surgical team
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license)
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR certification a plus
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience
