Overview: The U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) is implementing the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System to improve Soldier readiness, resilience, and deployability across the Physical, Nutritional, Mental, Spiritual, and Sleep domains. SRI is seeking a Registered Dietitian to serve as a member of an interdisciplinary H2F Performance Team supporting Army Reserve Soldiers and leaders. The Registered Dietitian will lead performance-nutrition program development and education, provide individual and group performance-nutrition coaching, support Soldiers enrolled in the Army Body Composition Program, and mentor unit H2F Integration Teams. The position requires recurring travel to Army Reserve subordinate units within the assigned area of responsibility and work aligned with Army Reserve training schedules, which may include evenings and weekends. The position is educational and advisory and does not provide clinical medical nutrition therapy.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, adaptation, and implementation of command-specific Performance Nutrition Program policies and educational curricula.
• Develop practical, evidence-based performance-nutrition resources, including fact sheets, field-training fueling strategies, meal-planning guides, and Go For Green® materials.
• Develop and deliver nutritional-readiness curriculum in support of H2F onboarding.
• Conduct individual and group performance-nutrition education and coaching.
• Provide nutrition education and support to Soldiers enrolled in the Army Body Composition Program, emphasizing sustainable lifestyle changes, healthy weight management, and improved body composition.
• Develop resources that Soldiers can use during Battle Assemblies, Multiple Unit Training Assemblies, and during the periods between scheduled Army Reserve training.
• Collaborate with other HPT members to integrate nutrition strategies supporting physical performance, injury recovery, cognitive performance, and sleep optimization.
• Mentor and train unit H2F Integration Teams in the delivery of foundational performance-nutrition education.
• Create and maintain domain-specific H2F educational and resource materials.
• Participate in HPT meetings, planning sessions, working groups, and synchronization activities with Government personnel and unit leadership.
• Contribute domain-specific information to required HPT reports, implementation strategies, After-Action Reviews, and other deliverables.
• Conduct recurring knowledge transfer and train Government-designated personnel on contractor-developed curricula, strategies, and resources.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable Army H2F doctrine, policies, standards, and regulations.
• Complete required Government training and maintain all required professional credentials.
• Travel routinely to supported Army Reserve subordinate units and training locations as required.

The PWS requires each HPT specialist to contribute to H2F onboarding curriculum, resource libraries, mentorship packages, reporting, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Completion of a didactic program in dietetics approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association.
• Successful completion of a CADE-approved supervised practice program, such as a dietetic internship with generalist or military emphasis or a coordinated program in dietetics with generalist emphasis.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience as a Registered Dietitian, with demonstrated emphasis on performance nutrition for athletes or tactical populations.
• Minimum of three years of relevant post-graduate experience within the last four years as a Registered Dietitian with demonstrated focus on performance nutrition for athletes or tactical populations.
• Must have and maintain all professional registration, certification, and licensure required for the position.
• Where licensure is required, must maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions.
• Must meet applicable DHA credentialing and primary-source verification requirements.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule supporting Army Reserve training events, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Must be willing and able to travel regularly within CONUS to supported Army Reserve locations.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Confidential. Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be able to obtain and maintain the required CONFIDENTIAL personnel security clearance and required installation, CAC, NIPRNet, and system access eligibility.
