Physician Assistant - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Steubenville

Summary: Surgical PA with a minimum of 1+ year surgical experience to assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. Must be licensed in Ohio. Coverage for hospital rounding, surgery (elective and emergent), and assistance in clinic.

RATES:
Malpractice - Must be included in rates.
Orientation - half the hourly/callback rate*** kicks in after 8 hours. "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
Holiday - Must be 1.5x the regular rate*** "Per holiday hour, no OT"
On Call (Daily) - *** - *** - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - *** to *** - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"

Setting: Acute hospital
Duties: hospital rounding, surgical, and assistance in clinic, also to take call
FTE: 1.0
Required Procedures: CABG, thoracic, vascular, cardiac surgery
EMR: Meditech and eCW
Support Staff: Office Supervisor
Reason for Coverage: Full time PA on vacation

• Preferred Lodging: none. In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market.
