Quality Assurance Technician

Quality Assurance Technician- Pay Range= $21.00/hr.


This position is temporary with an opportunity to be hired full-time.


Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for our client to start at $21/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!


Responsibilities:
This position will help document and record essential quality activities and help communicate any relevant information as needed. This position involves a combination of visual monitoring of various aspects of the FDC operations and physical testing of the product.

• Conduct routine visual inspections of the product

• Sample and inspect raw and finished products to ensure conformance to standards.

• Initiate and complete aging, shipping, receiving, and grading reports.

• Create and complete experiments to test packaging, product, and other elements of quality.

• Test product for oil content, temperature, and internal/external defects.

• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.

• Lift 48-pound containers from stacked pallets.

Location: University Park, IL


Schedule/Shift Details:

• 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a cold (38-50 degrees), wet, fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate with supervisors and coworkers in a team environment.

• Able to work according to food facility regulations.

• Experience in Microsoft Office is necessary.

• Knowledge of Microsoft D365/inventory systems preferred.

• Ability to be flexible with hours.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

401(k) with company match for eligible employees.


Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
