Performance Safety and Assignment Expectations • Report on time and prepared for work; remain available and productive throughout the shift, travel between assigned locations, identify the next productive step, and seek additional work when assignments are complete. • Do not refuse, abandon, substitute, or materially change an assignment without promptly discussing the concern with the supervisor, except when pausing is necessary to address an immediate safety risk. • Notify the supervisor promptly when access, vehicle condition, equipment, staffing, materials, safety, or another legitimate constraint may prevent timely completion; provide an accurate status and recommended next step. • Follow safe-lifting, team-lifting, cargo-securement, traffic, ladder, chemical-handling, personal protective equipment, and equipment-specific requirements; maintain safe pathways and protect occupants and property. • Stop work, secure the area when practical, and notify the supervisor when an assignment presents an imminent hazard, requires training or equipment not provided, exceeds demonstrated ability, or requires a license, permit, hazardous-material response, confined-space entry, or specialized trade. • Treat work time, vehicles, fuel, tools, materials, purchasing resources, and District and company property responsibly and use them only for authorized business purposes. • Demonstrate honesty, accountability, teamwork, sound judgment, and professionalism when reporting time, handling property, communicating mistakes or delays, and completing assignments. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements; ability to qualify to operate assigned vehicles. A commercial driver's license is required only when legally required for the assigned vehicle or duty. • Delivery, warehouse, moving, general labor, facilities, custodial, construction-support, or related experience preferred. • Demonstrated reliability, honesty, organization, initiative, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, customer service, and ability to follow directions through completion. • Ability to read labels, delivery and assembly instructions, safety information, building maps, and work orders; use a smartphone or mobile work-order application; maintain accurate records; and communicate clearly. • Ability to work independently and with a team in occupied school environments and pass all required background, driving-record, drug, and employment screenings. • Availability for occasional early-morning, evening, weekend, emergency, or weather-related assignments when scheduled or required by operational needs.
