Position Summary Lead and develop high‑performing store teams by teaching, training, actively listening, and providing feedback to associates during store tours. Communicate operations, business initiatives, merchandising plans, and change efforts, while ensuring clear expectations and guidance for both associates and store performance. Responsibilities Model exceptional customer service and support initiatives such as community outreach and store‑of‑the‑community programs. Resolve customer complaints, develop action plans, and provide process improvement leadership for a quality customer experience. Drive financial performance: review PL statements, budget, forecast, and control expenses to achieve sales and profit goals. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; mitigate shrink. Hire, train, mentor, and recognize hourly associates; set clear expectations and promote a sense of belonging. Support company policies, ethics, and integrity; implement the Open Door Policy and maintain compliance. Build relationships with stakeholders, identify improvement opportunities, and promote continuous learning. Attract, retain, and develop talent while fostering diversity and inclusion. Qualifications Minimum: 2years of college OR 1year retail experience + 1year supervisory OR 2years general work experience + 1year supervisory. Successful completion of all required job‑training and assessments. For firearms facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition facilities: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable). Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership; experience supervising 5+ direct reports with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
