Position: Electrophysiology RN

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 13-Week Contract

Schedule: 5x8 Hour Shifts (Monday-Friday, 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM)

Start Date: September 7, 2026

End Date: December 4, 2026

Overview

This position is an exciting opportunity for an Electrophysiology RN to cover a caregiver who is on leave. Candidates from local and non-local areas, including true travelers, are encouraged to apply. This contract offers a dynamic work environment focusing on patient care in a Heart & Vascular Clinic.

Qualifications

Must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is required.
Prior experience with cardiac catheterization lab procedures is essential, including:
- Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal
- Watchman procedure
Experience in the following electrophysiology procedures is required:
- Arrhythmia Induction
- Cardiac Ablation
- Cardiac Mapping
- Cardioversion
- Conduction Studies
- Insertion/Programming of AICDs
- Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
- Pacemaker Insertion
Knowledge of medication management, including:
- Antiarrhythmics
- Antihypertensives
- Thrombolytics
Competence in patient engagement, particularly in education regarding lifestyle and medication adherence.
Ability to contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the team.

Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as required. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate flexibility in their work environment. It is essential to commit to working important holidays during the contract period.
