Phlebotomist II

Location: Fort Smith, AR

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–4:00pm; Friday, 7:30am–12:00pm

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients

• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing

• Verify patient demographics and obtain signatures to ensure specimen accuracy

• Maintain required records and documentation in compliance with procedures

• Provide clear communication to patients, building trust and confidence

• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional work environment

• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed

• Travel to multiple locations and provide coverage with minimal notice

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections

• Prior experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Basic computer and data entry proficiency

• Ability to meet compliance requirements (COVID and Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing required)
