Associate Attorney – Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice / Sexual Crime

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and driven Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in West Palm Beach. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to advocating for individuals who have suffered serious injuries due to negligence, misconduct, or abuse of power.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, anticipate case needs, and work effectively with attorneys, clients, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments, gather information, and address questions or concerns.
• Manage and coordinate discovery processes, including document collection, review, and filing.
• Assist in all phases of case preparation, including organizing evidence, exhibits, witness materials, and trial documentation.
• Support senior attorneys in developing case strategies and preparing matters for settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial.
• Appear in court proceedings and hearings under appropriate supervision.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to deliver exceptional client service and case outcomes.
• Participate in networking, community engagement, and business development initiatives to strengthen client relationships and support firm growth.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Experience

• Three or more years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience handling Personal Injury and/or Medical Malpractice matters strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with case management software, including Filevine, is a plus.
