Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols, prioritizing patient safety and image quality.
• Position patients, explain procedures, and provide comfort and monitoring during scanning.
• Administer contrast agents as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions per policy.
• Prepare, operate, and maintain MRI equipment; ensure proper safety measures, screening, and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to optimize imaging protocols and ensure accurate documentation of findings in the medical record.
• Maintain patient data integrity and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and department standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of current MRI experience in a hospital setting
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) – active
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (or equivalent) – required
• NH MIRT Temporary License available (with equivalent state license) – very quick turnaround
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification – required
• Must have own reliable transportation for travel assignment
• Perm address must be included in the profile; all medical/occupational compliance items must be ordered/collected and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance
• Traveler requirements: local address not within 50 miles of the facility; profile must reflect permanent address
