Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team you will collaborate with team in designing producing testing or implementing moderately complex software technology or processes as well as create and maintain IT architecture large scale data stores and cloud-based systems.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE:

The Senior Software Engineer- Enterprise Platforms role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Independently assess customer and business requirements clarify technical needs and translate them into scalable solution designs and implementation approaches.
• Support application deployments and operational readiness including logging monitoring configuration management and production support as appropriate.
• Design develop test and deploy moderately complex software solutions using technologies such as ReactJS and ExpressJS.
• Develop and integrate cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda S3 ECS DynamoDB SNS/SQS Textract and load balancing.
• Implement new technologies and application capabilities while coordinating development testing deployment and production-readiness activities across the team.
• Collaborate with product owners architects developers security teams and other stakeholders to coordinate end-to-end delivery and resolve technical dependencies.
• Apply secure development practices including appropriate use of IAM SSO secrets management access controls and least-privilege principles.
• Troubleshoot application integration infrastructure and production issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience designing developing testing and supporting production applications.
• Hands-on experience with at least one backend programming language or runtime such as Python .
• Experience working with cloud-based applications and services preferably AWS services such as Lambda S3 ECS DynamoDB SNS/SQS load balancing or similar technologies.
• Working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including data structures testing debugging application security and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies including artificial intelligence to reimagine how we work

Desired Experiences

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with identity access management and secure application development concepts including IAM SSO least-privilege access and vulnerability scanning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitLab Terraform automated deployment pipelines and source-code management.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies and services such as APIGEE or similar API management and integration platforms.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with modern web application frameworks such as ReactJS and/or ExpressJS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform incorporating automated testing deployment controls and SAST/SCA/DAST security scanning.
• AWS certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification is preferred.

Target Salary Range: $123000 to $161000 a year

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and other relevant qualifications.
