Accessible Space, Inc. is now hiring part-time or full-time Direct Support Professionals to join our team!

Direct Support Professional position overview and responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living - mobility, transfers, hygiene, dressing and related areas.
- Provide functional skills training - assistance / instruction in cooking, shopping, cleaning
- Offer cognitive skills training - memory training, reinforcing speech and language
- Monitor client activities at the site
- Maintain accurate charting/documentation
Direct Support Professional qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 18 (as required by the State of Nevada).
- Read, write, hear, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by the state of Nevada
- Previous health care experience a plus but not required – we provide training
- A valid Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance a plus.
