Are you a recent graduate or trade school student looking to start your technical career? Do you want hands-on experience working with real industrial equipment, not just the classroom? Proconex is hiring entry-level Field Service Technicians to join our fast-growing team at Atlantic Valve Services (AVS).

This is a launching pad. We'll train you, mentor you, and give you the skills to advance into lead technician, supervisor, or sales engineering roles within a reasonable amount of time.

What You'll Do (80% field & assembly work)

You'll spend most of your time in the field and at job sites working with control valves, pneumatic systems, and diagnostic equipment. Your responsibilities include:

• Assemble control valves, regulators, and automated valve systems at our Royersford facility and customer locations
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, calibration, and installation of industrial control systems
• Troubleshoot and commission equipment at customer sites
• Collaborate with experienced technicians, sales engineers, and customer service teams
• Support skid assembly and mechanical equipment projects
• Prioritize safety and maintain professional work standards

What We'll Teach You (3-4 Month Training)

You don't need prior mechanical experience. We provide formal training in:

• Valve assembly and industrial control systems
• Pneumatics and automated systems
• Diagnostic equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Customer site safety protocols
• Equipment commissioning and calibration

As you advance, you'll have access to Emerson factory training programs —industry-recognized certifications that open doors.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in/graduated from a trade or technical program)
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions
• Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for field work)
• Drug screening required

Preferred but not required:

• Forklift certification (we can train you)
• Trade school or technical background
• Any mechanical, electrical, or hands-on technical experience
