Job Overview Electrician – JLL JLL is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform skilled electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and operational support across critical building systems. Daily Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems up to 480 V, including panels, breakers, MCCs, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and lighting. Install, repair, and maintain conduit, wiring, outlets, switches, motors, controls, and associated components. Use diagnostic tools, meters, schematics, and technical drawings to troubleshoot electrical faults. Support electrical requirements for HVAC/R equipment, pumps, boilers, chilled‑water systems, and mechanical equipment. Maintain strict adherence to NFPA 70, NEC, and site‑specific electrical safety procedures (including LOTO). Work from electrical drawings, schematics, prints, and verbal instructions. Support installation and startup of new equipment and system upgrades. Maintain electrical components of BAS/BMS systems (power supplies, sensors, actuators). Complete CMMS documentation accurately (PMs, corrective work orders, inspections). Follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, and change‑control processes where required. Support electrical needs in controlled environments such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and temperature‑regulated areas. Respond promptly and professionally to facility alarms and service requests. Perform minor facility tasks (lighting replacement, low‑voltage troubleshooting, resets). Support shutdowns, outages, seasonal preparation, and special projects as assigned. Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and follow‑through. Required Qualifications Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent industrial electrician experience. Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems up to 480 V. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Experience using CMMS software for maintenance documentation. Ability to work independently or in cross‑disciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in GMP, manufacturing, or controlled environments. Familiarity with validated or mission‑critical equipment. Experience with BAS/BMS electrical components and low‑voltage controls. OSHA 10 or comparable electrical safety training. Experience with generators, UPS systems, and emergency distribution. Work shift: 40 hours per week, full‑time 12‑hour shift with overtime as needed. Salary: $32.21–$46.63 per hour ($67,000–$97,000 per year) plus overtime.
