Position Overview:

The Gi Technician plays a vital role in supporting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Gi procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper function and sterilization
• Support physicians and nurses
• Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols
• Stock and organize supplies to ensure a well-prepared procedure room

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Experience: Demonstrated longevity in past roles preferred (stability and reliability are highly valued)
• Previous experience as a Gi Tech or Endoscopy Tech (preferred)
• Knowledge of sterile processing and medical equipment handling (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
