Unit Notes
Must have MN certification and agency must be active on the MN SNSA approved list to submit.

Rates are fixed per state law


Dementia training required prior to start.

Avg. Census: 25
Two units
• Tamarack has 20 beds
• Aspen (Memory Care Unit) has 20 beds
Certs- CNA/LPN/RN- Minnesota state Licensure and BLS

Assignment length (option of 2-week notice for anything outside of performance)- 13 weeks

Ratios
• RN/LPN- Days there will be one on each unit, Nights 1 for both units
• CNA - Day/Evenings shift there are up to 3 on each unit, Nights there is 1 CNA in Tamarack and 2 CNAs in Aspen (Memory Care Unit).

EMR- Point Click Care will be transitioning to EPIC soon
Weekend Requirement- typically every other weekend, maybe more
Holidays- yes and as needed
Scrub Color- Any color - no crazy prints or faces
Physicians- Rounding daily, 4-5 private practice physicians

Shifts
• RN/LPN: 7-730
• CNA: 7a-3:30p, 3p-11:30p, 11p-7:30a
Floor specific orientation
• RN/LPN: 3 shifts,
• CNA- 2 shifts on each unit

*Must be flexible, assignments can change during shifts*

These places have shower houses, and some have a laundromat too.
Arcadia Lodge in the off season (September-May). Summer is tough.
