Description: We are seeking an experienced critical care Registered Nurse (RN). Join a team of dedicated nurses who use compassion and teamwork to care for critically ill adult patients. Work in a fast-paced 24-bed ICU providing care to critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a Level One Trauma Center. Be part of an academic medical center and be involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes. Become an expert in using advanced life support therapies, including ECMO and continuous dialysis, to care for patients. Be part of a team that serves as emergency responders throughout the hospital. Care teams in the Trauma and Life Support ICU have received a prestigious award for excellence in critical care. The unit supports various interdisciplinary services such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy. Patient diagnoses include respiratory issues, post-code care, sepsis, GI bleeds, and post-operative management. Minimum experience includes two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. Pass/fail testing with strict criteria will be required prior to starting.
