Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Emergency Department with a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 (up to 6:1 for low-acuity ESI 4 & 5 patients)
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Lucas devices, Level 1 fluid warmers, Alaris IV pumps, iStat, EPOC, and GE monitors
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Perform unit-specific procedures including splinting and breathing treatments in addition to standard ED nursing duties
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RNs, Flow Coordinators, ED Techs, and Unit Secretaries across day, mid, and night shifts
• Participate in rotating weekend scheduling as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of prior Emergency Department experience
• Stroke and STEMI experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications required
• Ability to work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and rotating weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience in an emergency care setting
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience
