Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Our client in Durham, NC is looking to add a Physician Assistant to their orthopedic team. This full-time position will work 1:1 with a total joints physician and team of providers. 2+ years of orthopedic experience required.

Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday schedule
Mix of clinic/OR/hospital rounding
No weekend or call requirements
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications:
North Carolina PA License
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Some travel required to clinics
