Overview Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is seeking a dedicated Echocardiographer to join our Noninvasive Lab team in a full-time, day shift position. Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus Available to Qualified Candidates! Schedule Monday – Friday: 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, with on-call requirements every 5th week (off Friday prior to weekend call, but work Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm; on-call from 12pm-8am, and Sunday 12pm-6am). Responsibilities Perform two-dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Complete the technologist report in the structured report application. Education Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (Associate's or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology) OR a High School Diploma with significant experience considered in lieu of education, in accordance with IAC Guidelines.
