Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing. - Proficient in handling a variety of patient populations. Description: Founded in 1954 to meet the medical needs of the community. The unit includes an 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU. It features expanded cardiac rehabilitation and outpatient therapy departments. The area also supports pre- and post-cardiac catheterization lab operations for multiple catheterization labs. This is a critical care environment requiring strong assessment and clinical skills. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients. The Nurse will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:6. This position may require floating to other areas as needed. The Nurse will utilize an Electronic Health Record system for documentation. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role demands compassion, dedication, and teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
