Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry for our 2 South unit. The registered nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, and demonstrating competence in clinical practice aligned with facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Initiate and maintain IV therapy and perform dressing changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort.
• Engage in bedside reporting and conduct hourly rounding.
• Implement service recovery strategies as needed to enhance patient experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required.
• Current and active Texas RN license required (temp licenses not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
