Quality Control Associate

As a Quality Control Associate, you'll have a direct impact on product quality from raw materials and receiving through in-process production and final inspection . You'll use your technical knowledge, inspection skills, and analytical abilities to identify discrepancies, verify specifications, document results, and help ensure customers receive products that meet our quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process.

• Review engineering drawings, operations sheets, travelers, and other documentation before performing inspections and testing.

• Perform first article inspections , visual inspections, and dimensional verification.

• Use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, rulers, and gauges .

• Set up test equipment and perform electrical testing .

• Identify discrepancies between documentation, specifications, and work performed, documenting findings and working with Engineering when adjustments are needed.

• Record inspection results and required quality data accurately.

• Perform operations audits to verify products are manufactured according to specifications and applicable standards.

• Monitor material expiration dates and equipment/tool calibration due dates.

• Set up marking equipment and mark or stamp products as required.

• Create DMRs when necessary.

• Maintain and file QC records.

• Assist the Production department as needed.

• Follow company policies and procedures for all Quality Control functions.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines technical ability with exceptional attention to detail .

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or Quality Control environment.

• Prior experience performing QC inspections and/or manufacturing-related quality functions.

• Ability to confidently use calipers, micrometers, rulers, gauges, and other measurement tools .

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including engineering drawings and production documentation.

• Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word .

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to lift production materials weighing up to 20 lbs.

Education

• Associate's degree preferred.

• High school diploma with commensurate experience will be considered.
