The Mental Therapeutic Consulting Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with our organization, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients in their home environments or offer group therapy sessions at our outpatient center.
\n
• Implement evidence-based techniques to address high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression, with an emphasis on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills development.
\n
• Support youth and caregivers in refining their decision-making skills to effectively handle behavioral challenges present at home.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams, including child and family treatment professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to the care of our clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with organizational policies.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children aged 3 to 20 who are facing developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD). You will engage with families from diverse backgrounds, providing necessary emotional and behavioral support. Fostering a therapeutic environment that respects cultural sensitivities and differences is essential to our mission.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Possess an active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Be available to work a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during peak after-school hours (4 PM to 7 PM), with flexibility for weekend appointments if possible.
\n
• Be proficient in bilingual therapy, specifically in Spanish or Portuguese.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

We strongly prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of three years' experience working in mental health settings, especially with children and families.
\n
• A demonstrated history of providing positive behavior support and interventions.
\n
• Experience working with clients who have intellectual or developmental disabilities.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for any necessary travel to clients’ homes.
\n
• A clean criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting, is mandatory for this role.
