Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and work as part of a reliable team that values agility, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, contractors, and/or delivery personnel, and report policy violations, damaged property, or suspicious conditions.
• Support security-related operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic logistics zones, following post orders, and assisting with incident reporting and shift handoff communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
