Registered Nurse (RN) School Nurse - Part-Time

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support students at Forge Prep in Livingston, NJ. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule of two days per week and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.

We are looking for a reliable nursing professional who can commit to working throughout the entire school year, providing continuity of care and support to students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Assess and respond to illnesses, injuries, and health concerns
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a school environment
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred but not required

Schedule & Compensation

• 2 days per week
• Competitive pay: $40-$45 per hour
