Take ownership of the engineering plan for major energy and resources projects, with real accountability for how the work gets delivered Work across offshore, LNG, power/cogen, urea and full EPC project delivery, broadening your exposure and your career Drive innovative solutions and technology advances rather than just executing to a template Mentor and develop an engineering team while building relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors Grow with a company actively reskilling its people and supporting the transition to low carbon energy infrastructure and technology Job Details Establish the project framework for delivering engineering and design, providing cross discipline coordination and supervision by directing project execution activities for one large or several smaller projects Own the engineering plan and the project scope, cost and time requirements, coordinating the disciplines to ensure project success and taking corrective action on issues, staffing, scope changes or other events affecting completion and profitability Participate in project execution strategy and planning, driving innovative solutions and methods to effectively work out of sequence, and plan and monitor inter discipline quality including squad checking Support constructability, operability and maintainability reviews, resolve issues with site personnel, and may provide or lead on site support for construction, commissioning or turnover Requirements Actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law Strong understanding of cross discipline work, interfaces and sequencing, and well versed in project setup, work processes, team monitoring, execution and closeout Experience in project management, risk management, quality, procurement or construction Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content Interested in hearing more?
