Driver Transport (OTTUMWA)

Job Overview:

Transport Driver reporting to our facility in Ottumwa, IA 14955 Truman Street,Ottumwa,Iowa,52501

Position Details:

• Transport Drivers are responsible for ensuring our products are delivered to our regional distribution centers and/or drop sites in a safe and timely manner
• Typically no-touch freight
• Consistent runs, home daily
• Performs required pre and post trip vehicle inspections and maintains all required DOT documentation (including trip electronic logs)
• Averages 2,400 to 3,000 miles per week
• Averages 3-4 drop and hooks per shift

Shift and Schedule

• 2nd Shift
• Monday-Friday
• Start time between 11am-2pm until finished
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Total Rewards:

• $0.56per mile with a qualified rate after 6-months eligible for $0.59
• $6.02 for Drop and Hook
• $22.80 per hour for downtime

Annual unqualified rate of $76,000 - $90,000Annual qualified rate of $82,000 - $94,000

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A)
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
