Talent Corps is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians for a project in Monroe, LA. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled electricians looking for competitive pay and per diem.
Interview & Hiring Process
We will conduct in-person interviews on Thursday, September 10, in Monroe, LA.
Candidates will also be required to complete a conduit bending test during the interview. Candidates who successfully pass the bend test are expected to receive an offer by the end of the day and report to work the following Monday.
Responsibilities
- Install, bend, and route electrical conduit according to project specifications.
- Install electrical wiring, equipment, and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform conduit layout and installation.
- Work with various types and sizes of conduit.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed.
- Work safely around energized and de-energized electrical systems.
- Follow NEC, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Coordinate with other electricians, supervisors, and construction trades.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications
- Journeyman-level electrical experience required.
- Strong conduit bending and installation skills.
- Must be able to successfully complete the conduit bend test .
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects preferred.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in an active construction environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be available for the in-person interview on September 10 in Monroe, LA.
Compensation
$32/hour
$120 per diem per day
