Radiologic Technologist Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This position is located at a leading healthcare facility, providing diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will perform a variety of radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality images for accurate diagnoses. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the overall efficiency of the radiology department. This is a 13-week contract assignment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures according to established protocols. Position patients accurately and provide clear instructions to ensure optimal image quality. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines and related accessories. Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety guidelines and using appropriate shielding. Review images for technical quality and completeness, making necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Assist with inventory management and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT certification in Radiography (R). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with digital radiography systems. Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). Skills & Competencies Proficiency in performing a wide range of radiographic procedures. Knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate and troubleshoot radiographic equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Shift Details Day shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. No call requirements. No weekend rotation. Contract Dates July 30, 2026 – July 31, 2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Licensing Requirements Valid Missouri state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
