Qualifications Candidates must possess a minimum of two (2) years of qualifying experience in one of the following areas: Certified Law Enforcement Officer (Active or Retired) Corrections Officer Military Police or Qualifying Military Experience Required Documentation State Police Academy Certification, or State Corrections Academy Certification or Military DD214 Minimum Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Driver's License in the State of Employment Ability to pass Allied Universal pre-employment screening Ability to pass client-specific background investigations Ability to successfully meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements D and G Security Licenses preferred Candidates who do not currently possess a D and/or G License may discuss available licensing options during the interview process. Responsibilities Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site Minimum Requirements (Additional) Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
