Addiction Medicine Physician

Position Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to join the Department of Emergency Medicine at Jersey City Medical Center in Hudson County, New Jersey. Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC) is a state-designated Level II Regional Trauma Center with over 80,000 Emergency Department visits annually. The emergency department has a dedicated Pediatric ED wing and a cutting‑edge Fast‑Track area for minor injuries or illnesses. This physician will support the Hospital’s Emergency Department Chair and the System's Director of Addiction Medicine in implementing administrative and clinical initiatives based on best practices to improve care for patients with substance use disorders. The role offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team with advanced practice providers and scribes, delivering high-level emergency medicine care and addiction treatment.
