Title:: Full Stack Developer – Big Data & Apache Spark

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Big Data technologies and Apache Spark. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while building robust big data processing pipelines. The role requires strong experience across frontend, backend, distributed data processing, and cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications.
• Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Develop interactive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

Big Data & Spark Development

• Design and implement large-scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Process and analyze high-volume datasets using Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and DataFrames.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and cloud storage.

Data Engineering

• Work with Hadoop ecosystem components and distributed data platforms.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Optimize Spark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
• Support data warehousing and analytics initiatives.

Collaboration & DevOps

• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend

• JavaScript, TypeScript
• React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS

Backend

• Java, Scala, Python, or Node.js
• Spring Boot, Express.js, or similar frameworks
• REST APIs and Microservices Architecture

Big Data Technologies

• Apache Spark (Core, SQL, Streaming)
• Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, YARN)
• Kafka or other messaging platforms
• Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts

Databases

• SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server
• NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase

Cloud & DevOps

• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing and data processing frameworks.
• Experience building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and scalable architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spark optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Experience with real-time streaming applications.
• Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to Machine Learning pipelines and MLOps.
