Every role within our company contributes to that missionincluding our dedicated Resource Recovery Drivers, who help close the loop between production and environmental stewardship.

Based at our Cabot, Vermont plant, Resource Recovery Drivers play a vital part in our sustainability process. Working four 10-hour shifts each week, these drivers collect whey and other dairy by-products that cannot be processed into powder and safely apply them to local farm fields as nutrient-rich fertilizer. This process supports soil health, reduces waste, and upholds our cooperative's commitment to responsible resource management.

Drivers in this role operate under strict environmental regulations and agricultural best practices, ensuring every application meets state and federal standards. Responsibilities include checking groundwater levels in monitoring wells, assessing field conditions for ponding or runoff, ensuring proper wind direction and uniform application, and maintaining detailed records of all activities.

Resource Recovery Drivers also care for and maintain company equipmentperforming safety inspections, light maintenance, and vehicle washingas well as operating and managing the RO permeate spray field system.

This position requires a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement and a clean driving record. A high school diploma or GED is required, and flexibility is essential to cover weekend shifts as needed.
