Senior Account Executive: Beauty

Company Description Tractenberg & Co. is a full-service, boutique-style communications agency specializing in beauty and lifestyle brands worldwide. The agency delivers integrated influencer marketing, public relations, social media, and experiential marketing services.

Role Description The Senior Account Executive: Beauty is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility (3 days in office; 2 remote). This role leads day-to-day account management for beauty clients, overseeing campaign planning, execution, and performance reporting. Responsibilities include developing and pitching strategic communications plans, managing media and influencer outreach, and securing coverage across print, digital, and social channels. The Senior Account Executive coordinates content and messaging with internal teams, prepares client-ready materials, and supports event ideation and production such as launches, press previews, and experiential activations. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, mentoring junior team members, monitoring industry trends, and contributing to new business proposals within the beauty category.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in beauty-focused public relations and communications, including media relations, influencer partnerships, and campaign execution.
• Strong skills in content development and storytelling, including press materials, social copy, presentations, and client communications.
• Proficiency in digital and social media platforms, with an understanding of influencer marketing, analytics, and best practices for beauty and lifestyle brands.
• Account and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Comfort presenting to clients, collaborating with senior leadership, and providing guidance to junior colleagues in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Prior agency or in-house communications experience with beauty or consumer brands; experience in fashion or lifestyle is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
