Wiring Assembler

salary: $20 - $20.99 per hour

Responsibilities

• Point-to-Point Machine Wiring: Wire complex industrial machines from scratch, expertly installing, routing, and pulling cables from point A to point B through conduits, wire trays, and structural machine frames.

• Schematic & Layout Literacy: Read and follow electrical schematics, point-to-point wire lists, blueprints, and circuit diagrams to determine correct wire gauges, coloring, and terminal placement.

• Cable & Harness Installation: Securely tie, bundle, and route intricate wire harnesses and multi-conductor cables neatly to prevent interference with moving mechanical parts.

• Crimping & Termination: Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires to terminal blocks, relays, circuit breakers, and plugs using specialized hand tools, pneumatic crimpers, and soldering irons.

• Quality & Continuity Testing: Conduct visual quality checks on all electrical connections and utilize diagnostic equipment (such as multimeters or continuity testers) to ensure proper circuitry before final machine testing.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
