Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular

Role Overview: This position requires an experienced Nurse capable of practicing independently within a clinical setting. The Nurse provides both routine and complex patient care, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. They utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while administering medications, monitoring treatments, and documenting care. The Nurse also assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered nursing care aligned with professional standards and competencies. Manage clinical situations through appropriate assignments and delegation. Address complex psychosocial needs and monitor treatment effectiveness. Ensure accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Provide education to patients and families, identifying issues and resources. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty preferred; new graduates accepted. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Completion of onboarding, competency validation, and annual training. Ability to manage contingencies and delegate effectively. Additional Requirements Attending orientation and onboarding within specified timeframes. Obtaining required certifications within designated grace periods.
