Prior BMT experience is preferred — but not required.This role offers structured clinical exposure, strong physician collaboration, and the opportunity to build highly specialized expertise in a nationally recognized cancer program.Why Consider This Role?• Day shift with premium specialty differentials• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available• Flexible self-scheduling options• Hybrid inpatient/outpatient practice• Exposure to high-acuity, complex medical management• Academic medical enterprise environment• Interdisciplinary team supportIf you enjoy managing medically complex patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and practicing at a high level of clinical autonomy — this role builds naturally on ICU and internal medicine experience.Position OverviewBased in the Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy Department (BMT CI), this Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG), supports department Medical Oncologists, and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.You will care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy procedures, collaborating closely with physicians, pharmacists, nursing, and specialty services to manage complex treatment regimens and complications.What You’ll Do• Provide direct medical care to BMT and Cellular Immunotherapy patients in inpatient and outpatient settings• Manage medically complex patients with co-morbidities• Assist physicians with evaluation, management, and treatment planning• Formulate differential diagnoses based on clinical data• Develop treatment plans within scope of practice• Prescribe oral and IV medications as appropriate• Perform minor procedures within scope of practice• Coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team• Document patient care in accordance with medical staff rulesPractice occurs within a defined scope under supervising physician(s) or established protocols.Who Thrives Here• ICU or hospital medicine APPs who enjoy high-acuity care• Internal medicine APPs comfortable managing complex medical conditions• Oncology APPs seeking subspecialty growth• Clinicians who value collaboration and continuous learning• Providers motivated to develop expertise in transplant and cellular therapyThis role allows you to expand into a highly specialized oncology field while leveraging your strong foundation in acute and complex patient management.Credentials and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and national certification by the appropriate accreditation body.Active BLS and ACLS (must be AHA approved)Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; previous BMT experience preferred**Salary Range**$131,892.80 - $201,052.80*Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
