Job Details Job Details: Job Location: Compass Center - Grapevine, TX 76051, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Job Title: Graphic Designer Campus: Compass Center Department: Communications Report: Communications Director Status: Non-exempt/Full-time Supervisory Role: No Date Updated: 9/17/2026 Objective This position will administer, develop, and produce printed and digital designs for Compass on a church, campus, and ministry level. Works with the ministries and staff to brainstorm, create, and implement designs for events, projects, and other communications needs: including web, social media, print, digital, and outside communication purposes. The Graphic Designer works closely with the Communications Team and Creative Team to ensure and oversee immediate and long-term implementations of the Compass Brand. Essential Job Functions Helps the Communications Team oversee and implement the Compass brand as a whole. Ensures all designs that leave the Communications office have clarity of message and keep with the Compass Brand. Meets with ministries to brainstorm ideas for their ministry needs. Creates graphics to help communicate events, ministries, and the overall look and feel of Compass. Creates design packages that include varying materials for each event to be used and a multitude of media outlets. Brings excellence to all they do and is constantly striving to create new and fresh ideas and designs. Work Schedule 40 hours per week. Regular Office hours: Monday-Friday. Qualifications Education High School Diploma Experience 2 years’ experience in Graphic Design Skills and Abilities Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite Strongly disciplined in the principles of design (layout, typography, color theory) Knowledge and understanding of brand cohesion and execution. Highly adaptable and possesses great time management skills. A highly collaborative approach to work and creation Team player capable of fostering relational influence. Understands the importance of design practicality as well as aesthetics. Requirements of Compass Staff Must have a servant’s heart for ministry, serving with a positive attitude and spirit. Must be of moral and spiritual integrity in all areas of your walk and life. Every staff member is expected to fully engage in the ministry of the church. This includes attending a weekend service and tithing. We consider ministry readiness, and an individual’s capacity to represent Compass Church’s beliefs, during the selection process for all positions.
