Tandem-Client NonStop Lead / System Administrator
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

USC and GC preferred
Brief Description:
We are looking for a Tandem technical lead to take care of the system administration (e.g. OS upgrades and patches, database management systems, application integration & communications, storage, license renewal, etc.) as well as supporting the production operation and enhancements.
Requirements:
- Exceptional knowledge of Tandem Client NonStop system administration (OS upgrades and patches, database management systems, application integration & communications, storage, license renewal, etc)
- Experience in system administration within a highly available enterprise environment or related experience
- Experience with Tandem TAL/TALC, COBOL85, SCOBOL, and Non-Stop SQL Coding, debugging with inspect and writing TACL script
- Working experience with C programming on Tandem
- Working experience with RDF, OSS, Pathway, Pathcom, SCF
- Working experience in TCP/IP, SMTP, UDP
- Working knowledge of Unix
- Experience with Safecom and securing the system and user applications
- Experience in all phases of SDLC
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills Perform other duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree - Major in Computer Science preferred, other majors considered. Willing to accept additional experience in lieu of a degree.
