Job Description
Description:
Overview: As a growing 501 C3, Non-profit organization, CRCI is always looking for new talented individuals who can be an addition to its efforts. It is CRCI’s Management's desire that each person involved with the organization (paid or not paid) has a burden for the lost, the sick, and the suffering. It is also important that all staff recognize that they are a representative of CRCI, and their actions will affect the community's outlook upon it. Staff is a representation of the CRCI program, and it will be expected for them to conduct themselves in a manner that would always promote and elevate the image of CRCI to the community. Any behavior that promotes a negative image of the organization is unacceptable.
Job Summary: The Reentry Coordinator is responsible for leading and supporting the daily operations and long-term goals of CRCI’s Phase 4 Reentry program, which provides transitional housing and recovery services to graduates of CRCI’s intensive residential program and other similar programs. The Reentry Coordinator oversees the safety, well-being, and progress of the residents, as well as the maintenance, supplies, security, and cleanliness of the property. The Phase 4 Reentry Program Manager also works closely with CRCI program management and staff to recruit and advocate for the Phase 4 program and to ensure the quality and effectiveness of CRCI’s mission.
Essential Duties:

- Conduct random room inspections to ensure standards of cleanliness and personal sobriety are kept by all residents
- Monitor residents for intoxication at all times, paying close attention to detail and watching for changes in behavior and routine
- Facilitate Phase 4 meeting one time each week at a time when most residents are available to attend
- This time is meant to be opened and closed in prayer, and can be used to introduce updates to the program, answer questions, provide feedback on requests, correct recurring issues (such as room cleanliness, attendance records not being submitted, etc.)
- Track resident activities to ensure that each person is attending all required work and recovery-based events on a consistent basis
- See Phase 4 Program Overview for further details
- Oversee facility areas assigned to Phase 4 to conduct maintenance reports, manage chore responsibilities, and apply financial consequences when necessary for residents not meeting cleanliness standards set by CRCI
- Investigate wrongdoing and inform the supervisor if there is any cause for concern regarding the safety of the residents, or if there is evidence or reasonable suspicion that a resident has/will violate the program policies so that it can be addressed before any dangerous situations occur
- Collect and monitor the status of program fees paid/owed

- May use trusted residents to assist with this by assigning up to two(2) residents an assistant position that comes with the benefit of a program fee reduction of $40/week
- Track and manage the budget as set by the program director. Minimize operational costs wherever possible. CRCI will provide all basic needs at a reasonable amount, such as 3 meals a day, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, transportation, and utilities including wifi, but additional items (typically items classified as “wants,” rather than “needs” must be purchased by residents.

- Meet with all reporting staff on a bi-weekly basis for personal check in and make a basic assessment of duties and whether they have been completed to CRCI standard.
- Supervise any support staff, interns, or residents assigned to your department.
Lifestyle Expectations:
Being that CRCI is a Christian ministry that represents the fundamental ideology of a Christian Recovery Center, all Resident Care staff should live in a way that sets a positive example to residents and to the community. Staff members, interns, and volunteers should display these positive traits both on and off the clock. Due to the nature of this example, applicants who wish to join the resident care staff are asked to voluntarily meet the following criteria:
CRCI leadership highly values the biblical principle that our physical bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and should be kept pure. Staff members should strive to maintain healthy lifestyles, as this glorifies God and models the teaching of the Christian Bible. Examples of unhealthy lifestyles include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Use of tobacco
- Use of Illegal Drugs
- Drinking alcohol in excess or in public view
- Abuse of OTC and prescription medications
Applicants must have abstained from the use of Illegal Drugs for at least 3 months prior to application in order to be eligible for hire. A drug, alcohol, and nicotine screening will be conducted during the interview process. Applicants also attest that they have not abused legal drugs, such as prescriptions or over-the-counter medication, or alcohol for at least the 3 months prior to application in order to be eligible for employment. In addition, the applicant agrees to:
- Live by biblical standards
- Attend and actively support a fellowship of believers regularly.
- Exclusively engage in sexual relations within the bounds of a Biblical Christian Marriage
