(Aseptic Manufacturing Operator - Cleanroom / GMP)

Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday, 6:00 AM-5:00 PM
Shift: 4/10s

Sirius Staffing is hiring multiple Cleanroom Technicians ( Aseptic Manufacturing Operators ) for a long-term contract in Birmingham. AL. This position will support cleanroom manufacturing operations by performing aseptic activities, cleaning and sanitization, equipment cleaning, general housekeeping, consumable inventory activities, and facility/equipment improvement support.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate personal proficiency in aseptic technique with minimal supervision while working in Grade D/C cleanrooms and Grade A filler/isolators.
• Demonstrate the ability to consistently clean and sanitize cleanrooms to levels required and measured by the Quality Microbiology Department.
• Demonstrate the ability to consistently clean and sanitize production equipment and assets through manual or automated methods, including hand wiping, clean-in-place (CIP), steam-in-place (SIP), or other cleaning mechanisms.
• Actively participate in general area housekeeping and stocking of consumable supplies, including maintaining simple inventories and cycle counts of consumables.
• Seek out and identify opportunities related to the maintenance, calibration, and improvement of company facilities, equipment, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in a technical area highly preferred
• 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
• MUST have a background working in a CLEANROOM or LAB Environment
• Thorough understanding of general laboratory glassware.
• MUST have a basic understanding of system controls and data-logging software.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with the ability to perform calculations when supplied with the equation.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions.
