Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Analyst – Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Join the Quality team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and contribute to data accuracy and world-class care. This role supports CIBMTR Registry data collection and analysis at NewYork-Presbyterian with a focus on quality-driven achievement. Responsibilities Oversee and perform data collection, manage internal databases, and ensure accuracy and quality compliance with CIBMTR standards and timelines. Build databases and supervise the conversion of data into appropriate file formats for statistical analysis; produce regular reports for the program, departments, divisions, and relevant stakeholders. Lead efforts to interface with other databases and related systems (e.g., Information Systems, departmental/divisional databases) in relation to QAPI data. Provide guidance and support to other team members as a senior member of the team. Utilize tools such as SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses. Develop visualizations (charts, graphs, maps, dashboards) to present data clearly and concisely. Develop and implement data models and algorithms to improve data quality and usability. Work on-site with potential travel to NYP sites; maintain a full-time schedule Monday to Friday. Hybrid schedule includes 4 days in office and 1 day remote. Qualifications Preferred Criteria Clinical licensure (RN, PA, PharmD) Master’s degree in Public Health Proficiency in SQL, SAS, or Python Background in clinical data abstraction and experience with RedCap Experience working collaboratively across multi-functional teams Required Criteria Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of related experience in quality or data analysis Excellent computer skills Demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills Strong research and analytical skills including collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data into identifiable trends Location, Schedule and Benefits This position is based out of the corporate office in Midtown Manhattan with possible travel to NYP sites. Hybrid schedule includes 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
