At Southern Rockies Animal Emergency & Specialty, you'll have the opportunity to help shape and grow a critical care service within a collaborative, AAHA-accredited specialty and 24-hour emergency hospital. Our hospital is home to Emergency clinicians and with a Neurologist joining the team we can continue to expand our specialty offerings. In Your Day-to-Day, You Will:

• Manage high-acuity emergency and ICU patients, including triage, stabilization, and ongoing critical care management.
• Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds while collaborating with Emergency and Neurology team on shared patient care.
• Perform advanced therapies utilizing mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, telemetry, oxygen kennels, and other critical care technologies available within the hospital.
• Support the continued development and growth of critical care services while helping advance patient care protocols and best practices.
• Partner with a rapidly expanding specialty team, including newly added Neurology services, to help strengthen advanced patient care offerings throughout the hospital.
• Engage in continuing education, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities designed to support long-term career growth.
• Collaborate closely with specialty and emergency teams to ensure exceptional case management and patient outcomes.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Emergency & Critical Care (DACVECC) or Residency Trained in Emergency & Critical Care.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
