Make a meaningful difference each day by providing dedicated support as a Registered Behavior Technician, working one-on-one with a high school student with autism. This opportunity is an onsite, full-time contract position beginning as soon as possible, structured as a month-to-month engagement. You’ll step into a purposeful environment and thrive under the supervision of an experienced BCBA, making a direct impact while advancing your expertise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (nationally recognized)
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ideally at the high school level
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries with adolescent students
- Proficiency in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with supervising BCBA, teachers, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions in a one-on-one setting with a high school student
- Accurately collect and document data on student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate closely with the student’s supervising BCBA to adapt and fulfill treatment plans
- Support generalization of skills across settings (classroom, school environment, social settings)
- Provide feedback and insights to assist in ongoing assessment and intervention planning
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards as outlined by the BACB
