Quality Inspector

Job Title: Inspector Job Description

We are seeking three experienced Inspectors for the first shift who will be responsible for conducting quality assessments and measurements on products within specified dimensions. Candidates with experience in the Aerospace industry are highly preferred. The role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of transitioning between projects as needed. You will handle 200-300 subassemblies, each with multiple parts, requiring visual and hands-on inspection, tolerance reviews to ensure they meet specifications, and completion of data packages both manually and electronically.

Responsibilities

  • Complete first article inspections, generating reports and PCMM points maps detailing product quality.

  • Develop and maintain inspection reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.

  • Perform inspections across all stages of production.

  • Prepare and maintain test data for review.

  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.

  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.

  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.

Essential Skills

  • Inspection, quality control, and quality assurance expertise.

  • Proficiency in quality inspection and parts measurements.

  • Experience with precision manufacturing.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of experience with inspection tools, engineered drawings, prints, and assessing customer requirements in a CNC machine shop.

  • Proven experience using PCMM and/or CMM technology.

  • Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with a quality management system.

  • Familiarity with AS 9100 process documentation is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Aerospace specifications requirements is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
