Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Required Skills & Experience • \t4+ years of cloud infrastructure engineer experience supporting business-critical IT infrastructure within an enterprise organization \n•\tHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (networking, VDI, DNS) and Microsoft Entra ID (SSO, enterprise applications, conditional access)\n•\tExperience with infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python and Microsoft Purview or Litera CAM for data governance\n•\tStrong knowledge of cloud applications, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, MCP servers, and enterprise infrastructure management.\n•\tExposure to deploying and operating AI technologies (Claude, Copilot, etc.)\n•\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Nice to Have Skills & Experience • \tMicrosoft, cloud, and networking certifications Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a premier law firm client. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting the firm's cloud and on-premises infrastructure while helping drive modernization efforts across cloud, automation, and AI initiatives. The engineer will play a key role in maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable technology solutions.\n\nDay-to-day responsibilities may include the following:\n•\tDesign, develop, implement, and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.\n•\tBuild, configure, and maintain enterprise cloud environments, applications, and AI-related systems.\n•\tDevelop and maintain infrastructure automation using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.\n•\tSupport operational technology strategies, governance standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n•\tAssist with backup, disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation efforts.\n•\tMonitor system performance, analyze infrastructure metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization and security improvements.\n•\tCollaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.\n•\tParticipate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule supporting production systems, deployments, and Tier 3 escalations.\n\nThis is a full-time position that can sit fully remote in one of the following states - MA, ME, NH, CT, NJ, NY, FL, IL, VA.
