Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN

Overview Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate LPN at our client’s site in Findlay, OH in a PRN role. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety! Responsibilities Assist with patient care, physical examinations, ancillary tests, and perform a variety of administrative duties. Escort patients to exam room, prepare patients for examination and treatment, and assist the practitioner as requested. Perform urine drug screens using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pickup and shipment to appropriate laboratory. Maintain exam rooms, lab area, and treatment rooms clean and stocked, managing inventory of supplies and re‑orders as needed. Assist in medical record maintenance by keeping health, administrative, and program records onsite, safeguarding confidentiality of employee health information. Perform front office clerical duties such as answering telephones, check‑in, check‑out, and record processing. Dispense medications as directed by practitioner and in accordance with state regulations. Maintain and operate all clinical equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures. Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, injections, audiograms) in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values. Ensure accuracy when completing and executing tasks such as drug screens, DOTs, bandaging, dressings, and performing quality assurance checks. Ensure accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork. Provide an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume. Manage time, prioritize and multi‑task in a busy environment. Adapt to changing business needs such as scheduling and working additional/different hours/shifts when appropriate. Take action to assist in other areas and to do what is needed to ensure an excellent patient experience. Seek out opportunities for additional clinical training and self‑development to consistently provide quality care. Effectively communicate with all patients, clients, supervisors and peers while incorporating Orange Book values. Listen to and understand internal and external client needs in order to act and address. Commit to personal excellence and understand how daily work contributes to center operation as a whole. Hold self and others accountable and be willing and able to assist others in order to achieve results. Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. Current registration/license in the state where employed. Successful completion of UDS, BAT, PFT, FIT, certification. At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or related field. Continuing education is required to maintain license and to perform job. Demonstrated willingness to participate in Continuing Medical Education.
