Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR, to provide effective treatment.
  • \n
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on improving mental health outcomes and enhancing coping strategies.
  • \n
  • Provide support to clients in various life stages, addressing issues ranging from depression and anxiety to family dynamics and trauma recovery.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the utmost confidentiality in all communications.

  • Regularly communicate with clients to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to best support their journeys.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to clients' mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds. This role requires a commitment to understanding and respecting the individual needs of each client and adapting therapeutic interventions accordingly. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where all clients feel safe and understood.

Qualifications\n

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Arizona.
  • \n
  • Proficient in both English and Spanish to effectively serve bilingual clients.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services in a mental health or behavioral health setting.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated cultural competence with the ability to work respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • \n
  • Strong skills in written, verbal, and non-verbal communication to connect with clients effectively.
  • \n
  • Understanding of and compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
  • \n
  • Willingness to work as an in-network provider with insurance companies for billing purposes.

  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with EHR software and Microsoft Office programs.
  • \n
  • A valid driver’s license and car insurance, as occasional travel may be required for community outreach.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Specialized training or focus in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, or perinatal mental health.
  • \n
  • Experience in providing telehealth services in a compliant and secure manner.
  • \n
  • A history of effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
